Payroll Teammate 5.2 solves major accounting dilemmas: recording payroll activity and generating employee-level allocations of benefit costs (which avoids the hidden subsidy problem). Using it insures that you have complete validation of all transaction data to accounting. It supports accruals (forward-looking as well as traditional).


Here’s how it works

We’ll configure control of the allocation of salary and tax expenses in your payroll entry by one of two methods: embedded codes in your payroll product (e.g., Department Number in ADP) or MIP's own Distribution Codes. Your transaction data is completely validated to insure successful transfer to MIP (including account code existence and status, balancing by all balancing segments, compliance with effective Date policy in MIP, and unique Session IDs). Accrual/reversal of cross-month payrolls is supported. We even have an automatic correction feature if your payroll vendor's file contains small rounding errors. And, you can allocate benefit (and other) costs at the employee level using the salary history for the basis period you select.
