PRiSM for iPad is the front end of a complete hosted sales
tool designed specifically for companies to take orders on the road, at trade
shows and in their showroom.
The iPad front end's mission is to be as powerful yet simple as possible for
the salesperson to use on a day to day basis.
Once the company is registered, each salesperson will be assigned a username
and password. Upon login, the iPad will automatically retrieve all required
information such as customer and product lists as well as product images and
catalogs. Specific company settings are also automatically loaded on to the
iPad.
Once the salesperson is registered, they will also have the option to register
their customers. This will allow customers to download products and catalogues
on their own iPads giving them the ability to place orders for your products
independent from the salesperson.
The back end is a hosted solution that offers space on a server for hosting all
your content as well as a powerful web interface allowing the head office to
prepare, update and manage product and customer lists as well as product images
and catalogs. It includes a catalog digitization tool allowing the office to
control how displayed catalogs will interact with the iPad users.

with log in and FTP site information to walk you through the initial data
preparation process. A brief 30 minutes consultation is usually all you require
to get started.
The process of creating an order is quick and simple on the iPad. Orders can be
created either by selecting from filtered product lists, browsing catalogs,
browsing categories or scanning barcodes using a Bluetooth scanner.
Created orders are sent to the remote servers and emails are automatically sent
to customers, salesperson and your head office.
The back end also includes an online web cart for your customers to place new
or repeat orders independent from the salesperson. The web cart is accessible
via any web-browser, using the same content as the iPad and therefore requiring
no setup or maintenance. All you need to do is register the customers to the
website and they can place orders on their web browsers in an interface that
looks, feels and functions just like the iPad application.
If necessary, a migration tool can be installed on one of your computers to
automatically retrieve all new orders from the remote database and insert
it in your accounting package.
This solution is sold on a monthly plan or a per order fee. Either model
requires a setup fee to get you started.
