Developed in the Sage ERP 300 (Accpac) SDK, AccTech Internal Requisitions enables a business to issue consumable stock from a central warehouse to internal cost centres, whilst costing the relevant expenses to these predefined cost centres.

 

The Internal Requisition module which is certified for Sage ERP 300 (Accpac) version 6.0, links directly to the following Sage ERP 300 (Accpac) modules:

 

  • Inventory Control (IC) is updated immediately thereby always reflecting the correct stock holding in the warehouses.
  • General Ledger (GL) – the relevant cost incurred when the stock was issued through Internal Requisition is posted to the correct GL Account as set up in the Internal Requisition Cost Centre maintenance module. 
  • Project and Job Costing (PJC).
  • Accounts Payable (AP).

The Internal Requisition module enables a business to maintain and control a clean GL while obtaining the required break down analysis through the use of the Internal Requisition Module. The solution provides the following additional features to Sage ERP 300 (Accpac) version 6.0:

  • Control internal stock consumption to correct Cost Centre or Project.
  • Cost Centre segments can be defined.
  • Cost Centre configuration to 10 segments.
  • Cost Centre structures can be defined.
  • Ship-to address linked to Cost Centre.
  • Cost Centre links to GL Structure.
  • GL transaction journals are updated with cost centre settings and index account overrides.
  • Cost Centre setup for specific IC categories allows Cost Centre to consume only the specified stock items.
  • No dependency on Accpac Order Entry or Accounts Receivable being installed.
  • Allow vendors to be setup as Consignment stock vendors.
  • Provide a Consignment liability report for comparison to vendor documentation based on internal consumption of consignment stock.
  • Create AP Invoice for consignment stock usage.
  • Manufacturer item numbers can be used.
  • Requisition, Ship, Return and Back Order functionality.
  • Quantity on Order and caters for backorders where no stock is available on hand.
  • Internal stock consumption may be issued against projects as configured in Project & Job Costing module.
  • Inquiry screens to lookup completed orders and history.
  • Integration available from AccTech eWorkflow.NET to manage and control internal stock usage by applying business policies and rules.
  • Optional Fields can be configured for Requisitions, Requisition Details, Returns and Return Details.
  • Only incomplete Requisitions will list and display on the Requisition Transaction screen. Completed Requisitions will list and display on the Inquiries screen.

The IC Stock Category setup in the Inventory Control Module determines the Income Statement accounts to which the movement on a stock item will be posted to.

 

Should it be required that the value of a specific Cost Centre item be posted to a General Ledger account other than the one stipulated in IC, this can be done by substituting the Index account number with the required Index account number, in the setup of the Cost Centres in the Internal Requisition module. A substitute index account can be setup for each IC category.
